Privacy Policy
We are a small chimney and masonry crew, and we collect only what we need to call you back and do the job. This page explains it in plain language.
What information does Crown Heights Chimney Sweep collect when I fill out the contact form?
The form asks for your name, phone number, email address, the property address or neighborhood, and a description of the chimney problem. That is what we need to call you back and plan a visit. We do not ask for payment details on the website. Basic analytics on the site record page visits in aggregate, not who you are, and we do not sell or rent any of it.
What We Collect
Through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the property address or neighborhood, and whatever you tell us about the chimney. Through phone calls: the same details, plus notes we take about the problem so the crew arrives prepared.
During a visit: photos and video of your chimney, flues and roof taken for the inspection report and estimate. These show masonry and equipment, not people or the inside of your home beyond the fireplace or boiler area.
We do not collect payment card details through this website. Payment is arranged directly with you at the time of the work.
How We Use It
To call or email you back, schedule the visit, prepare inspection reports and estimates, perform and warranty the work, and keep a record of what was done at your property so future visits make sense.
If you ask us to, we will remind you when an annual inspection or sweep is due. You can tell us to stop at any time.
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses basic analytics to count visits, see which pages are read and understand how people find us. That data is aggregated and does not identify you to us by name. Analytics tools set cookies in your browser to do this.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work. If we add any advertising or remarketing tags in the future, we will update this page to say so.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with marketers. The people and services that see it are the ones needed to do the job: the email and form provider that delivers your message to us, the scheduling tools we use, and, only when you ask us to coordinate, another contractor such as your roofer or general contractor.
We will disclose information if a court order or law requires it.
How Long We Keep It
Inspection reports, estimates and job records are kept for as long as they are useful for warranty follow-up and future service at the same property. Inquiries that do not turn into a job are kept so we can respond if you come back, and are deleted on request.
Photos from your property are kept with the job record and are not published or used in marketing without your permission.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop sending reminders. Email [email protected] or call (347) 555-0188 and we will take care of it.
Where a legal requirement means we must keep a record, for example a warranty record for work we performed, we will tell you what we are keeping and why.
Contact and Changes to This Policy
Questions about this policy go to [email protected] or (347) 555-0188. If we change how we collect or use information, the updated policy will be posted on this page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you sell or share my information with marketers?
No. We do not sell, rent or trade contact details, and we do not hand them to lead-generation companies or advertisers. The only outside services that handle your information are the ones that deliver your message to us and help us schedule the visit. We are a small local crew and the phone number you give us is used to call you about your chimney, nothing else.
Can I ask you to delete my information?
Yes. Email [email protected] or call (347) 555-0188 and ask. We will remove your contact details and inquiry from our records. If we performed work at your property, we may keep the basic job record needed to honor the warranty, and we will tell you exactly what is being kept.
Do you record phone calls?
No. We take written notes during calls so the crew knows what to expect, and those notes stay with the job record. If that ever changes, this page will say so and you will hear a notice at the start of the call.
